Are You Lonesome Tonight?

It's 1977, and as a 20th anniversary treat, Dwight Carter decides to take his wife to all 12 dates of an Elvis tour - his music brought them together, so what better present could there be?

The only problems are his wife no longer loves Elvis, and today is August 16th, and the King is about to leave the building for the last time.

After runs in Edinburgh and Buxton in 2010, Are You Lonesome Tonight? was performed at Brighton Fringe at The Temple on 23 and 24 May 2011, and then at Camden Fringe for three nights at the Etcetera Theatre with the run commencing on the 34th anniversary of the death of Elvis.

'The life and death of Elvis informs the drama in a fascinating way. A very interesting performance' On the Fringe

'A relevant look at fanaticism and the loss of one’s idols' Three Weeks

'witty, charming and compelling. I thoroughly enjoyed it' Love Fringe.com

'A warm-hearted and thoughtful play' Buxton Fringe

'Filled with wit and pathos'  Fringe Report.
